Impact Multiplied

We donate a portion of all loan commissions to 1C1313.org to be used to match public donations. Our goal is to donate a double portion to local non-profits that meet essential and basic needs for children and adults who need extra help. (our funds + public donations = double donation.) Together we can do more! We will match your donation. Your impact is also doubled!

What is a Mortgage Broker?

Blackwell Mortgage of NC LLC is a Mortgage Broker. This means we work for YOU, not a particular lender. This allows us to help you based on your best interest not our employer's. Instead of you taking time out of your busy day to find the best loan terms, we do that for you. We shop the loan, not only based on rate and fees, but also on lender fit with your unique financial needs. Typically, our fees are paid to us by the lender. (Any exceptions to this will be clearly explained, and the cost to you is the same, regardless). We are not paid until your loan closes. The only fees you pay upfront are for the appraisal, once you are under contract. It is totally free to be Pre-Approved.

What is a Certified Mortgage Adviser?

A Certified Mortgage Adviser looks at things a bit differently.  When you go through our process, we will review your answers to a mortgage planning questionnaire. We will match our recommendations to your preferences and your financial ability. We use special tooks to present your mortgage options. We study the market daily to best advise you on the trends in mortgage rates. As a local adviser in the Triangle Area of NC, we can also provide you with keen real estate trends and offer strategies.
